A new venture cannot remain as such forever. The entrepreneur must develop it into a small business or make it grow in to a mature and bigger company if he is to recoup the cost of opening the new venture and take advantage of the opportunities presented by a mature business.

Could you read when you were one year old? Certainly not. At that age you were just learning to say your first word. You could respond to simple commands like ” Sit”. ” Stand” or “Come here”. But you could not yet give any meaning to a written word.

Children’s mental abilities change as they grow. At age two, they can point to common objects. Asks a two-year-old to point to his nose, eyes, ears. Can he or she do this? Call the child’s name,Does he or she respond?

At age of three, most children can match shapes. They can name some colors. Some can count from one to ten. Others can recognize some letters of the alphabet.

Four-year-old children can speak well. They can understand and follow simple directions such as “Come here” and ” Get the ball”. They can also ask questions that begin with “why”, “how” and “When”. They can make up stories using their toys.

Some children start to go to school when they are five years old or even younger. In school. their mental abilities are further developed.

They learn to read.

They learn to write

They learn to draw.

They learn to solve math problems.

Jenny’s Restaurant is full of customers on any given day. It is not surprising because of its good location in the city. Its 27-years-old owner, Jenny is more than happy because she was able to realize her dream of becoming successful in the food business. She now owns the building she used to rent before. Serve in its large air conditioned function hall are native and Chinese delicacies.

It was in the restaurant where she first met her husband, a Chinese and a native of Shanghai in mainland China. Both she and her husband are working hard to make the business even larger and more successful.

Jenny’s troubles began when her husband informed her that he must return to Shanghai as soon as possible. His parents are already old and weak and are requesting him to come back and tend the family business. Being the only son, he could not say no.
